There’s always something a little fun about scrapping older photos. Such as this one, which was taken more than 30 years ago.
Let’s talk about the layout:
- What am I going to do if I ever run out of this woodgrain patterned paper? It’s from My Mind’s Eye, and I love it. I have a few more sheets, so I don’t have to worry about this now. But it’s definitely in the back of my mind. This paper creates a beautiful background.
- I used this sketch for my layout. I have a couple of sheets of those woodgrain labels, and this was a great way to use a bunch of them. I stamped on some and wrote journaling on others.
- Since the labels are a darker brown, I decided that was a good excuse to bring in some cork elements. I have a difficult time using them, but I like the way these look.
- The blue patterned paper has been in my stash for more than 15 years. I think it adds a nice touch of retro.
Here’s the process video. Hope you enjoy it!
Until next time!
