Let the Sunshine In

I know some scrapbookers are tired of pink and aqua. I’m not one of them–I still love this color combo!

Let the Sunshine In

I love this selfie, and I love the story this layout tells. So let’s get to it. ๐Ÿ™‚

  • Here’s the sketch I used for this page. I used one larger photo instead of four smaller ones, but the design is much the same otherwise.
  • I struggled to come up with a title, so I asked the Two Peas Refugees for help. They asked me about the story I wanted to tell with this layout, and that got me on track. Once I knew I wanted to focus on light and sunshine, the title came easily.
  • I used texture paste to add color to the diamond diecut. It was hard to get even coverage, and I had to cut out the paste from the center where the words are. It ended up fine, but if I had to do it again I would use mist instead. It would give the piece a similar look without the work.

Watch the process video for more information about the layout.
