It’s not every day I get to go to a movie when I’m at work. So I appreciate–and scrapbook–it when I do. 🙂

Time to share a few things about this page:

• I found this layout on Pinterest and used it as my inspiration for this page. Right down to the pen outline around all the patterned paper. I haven’t done this look in a while, but I really like it.
• I bought four sheets of that multicolored icon paper back when it first came out, and I’m finally getting around to using some of it.
• Other items from my stash include the pink and white patterned paper, the blue scrap of paper I use for the banner, and the light pink cardstock under the photo cluster.

This layout seems like a good way to kick off blog posts for the new year.

I like to create a title page for my album with each new year, and I even created this one a little early. I came up with the idea for this page because I knew I wanted to use my mega date stamp. I stamped the two dates in two different colors to mark the change of the year.

While most of the items I used are new (or newish), I did pull the pink patterned paper I used as the frame for the whole page and the off-white cardstock I stamped on from my stash.
